Oaks, Redbuds, Dogwood and Amelanchier are considered fall hazard. <a href=\"https:\/\/christensensplantcenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fall-Digging-Hazard.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"outline: none;\">A full list of fall hazard trees is available on our website<\/a> under the Resources tab. If a customer chooses one of these trees in the fall, Christensen&#8217;s requires a waiver to be signed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"\"><strong>If you do plant&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When planting late in the fall to early winter, remember to mulch and use anti-desiccates (on all evergreens). Also keep watering \u2013 Shrubs and Trees will continue to take up water until full dormancy. If you plant something on the &#8220;no&#8221; list just know it is risky.
